Preliminary Assessment
Before providing credit assistance, we will prepare a preliminary assessment of your financial situation and needs.
You have the right to request a copy of this assessment.
Requests must be made within 7 years of the credit assistance being provided.
Lenders We Work With
We have access to loan products from a wide range of lenders through our aggregator Australian Finance Group (AFG).
This allows us to compare different loan options and help you select one that best suits your needs.
However, we may not necessarily present every available product in the market.
How We Are Paid
We generally do not charge you a fee for our credit assistance services.
Instead, we receive commissions from lenders when your loan settles.
These may include:
Upfront Commission
A one-off commission paid by the lender based on the loan amount when the loan settles.
Trail Commission
An ongoing commission paid by the lender while your loan remains active.
Commission amounts vary depending on the lender and loan product.
Further details about commissions will be disclosed in your Credit Proposal Disclosure Document.
Fees
In most cases, we do not charge brokerage fees.
However, if any fees are applicable, they will be clearly disclosed to you before proceeding with any credit assistance.
Referrals
In some situations, we may refer you to third-party professionals such as:
- Financial planners
- Accountants
- Solicitors
- Insurance providers
We may receive a referral fee or benefit for these referrals.
If this applies, it will be disclosed to you.
Conflict of Interest
We aim to act in your best interests when recommending loan products.
If any conflicts of interest arise, we will disclose them to you.
Privacy
We collect personal information to assist with your loan application and provide credit assistance services.
